Description

Norfolk Bridge is a road bridge built in 1856 for the Duke of Norfolk. It is constructed from ashlar and cast iron and features three segmental arches with chamfered voussoirs and pointed cutwaters. The bridge has an ornate cast-iron parapet and handrail that incorporates the Duke's initials. Additionally, there are square pedestals with the initial "N" in roundels, topped with stepped caps.
