Description
This is a sewer gas lamp from the late 19th century, made by the Webb Lamp Company. It is constructed from cast iron and painted green. The lamp has a conical shape with a domed cap, supported by curved brackets at the top of a fluted round column that has a bulged foot and ladder rests. The lamp stands on a round pedestal with a plinth, featuring a moulded panel on opposite sides that displays the maker's name. At the time of the survey, the lamp was complete but not functioning.
