Public house. c1840, with late C20 alterations. Painted stucco with ashlar dressings and gabled and hipped slate roof with 2 gable and single ridge stacks, rendered. Plinth, rusticated ground floor with quoins and dentilled cornice, moulded wooden gutter and brackets. 2 storeys; 5 window range. Angled facade on corner site. Five 12-pane sashes with keystone lintels, with 3 intermediate panels with raised lettering advertising the brewery and the house. Ground floor has to left a doorcase with flanking pilasters and beaded panelled door with overlight, flanked to left by a 12-pane sash and to right by 4 similar sashes. These window heads are covered by a late C20 fascia board. INTERIOR not inspected.
