Description
This former caretaker's house, located 45 meters northeast of King Edward VII School, dates back to around 1838 and is likely designed by William Flockton. The building is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with two square coped stacks at the rear. It has a plinth, a first-floor band, and a sill band. The house is two stories tall with a three-window range. The center is recessed and includes a round window above a 20th-century door with a cornice. The open-pedimented wings feature paired eight-pane sash windows, while below them are single round-headed glazing bar sashes. At the rear, there is a central round window and a lean-to porch. The interior has not been inspected.
