Description
The Club Inn is a public house built in the late 18th century, with a 19th-century extension at the rear. It features deeply coursed, squared gritstone and a stone slate roof, while the rear range is covered with Welsh slate. The building is two storeys high and has two windows on the first floor. It is characterized by large quoins and a doorway located to the right of the center, which has bonded ashlar jambs and a stone lintel. On each side of the doorway, there are three-light wood casement windows set in square-faced stone surrounds. The first floor windows are also three-light and retain their stone mullions. The building has ashlar end stacks. To the right, there is a single-storey addition that is not of special interest. At the rear, there is a two-storey range that includes a blocked cart entrance.
