Description
Sharrow Head House is a house dated 1763, with early and mid-20th century alterations. It is constructed of brick, partly pebbledashed, and features a hipped stone slate roof with three coped brick ridge stacks. The house has wooden eaves with modillion detailing and a pediment. It is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The windows are wooden cross casements with brick flat arches. The central section projects and has two windows on each floor beneath a pediment that contains a Diocletian window. On either side of this central section, there is a single window on each floor. The right return, which is pebbledashed, has a 20th-century door. The rear of the house has a recessed pebbledashed center and a 20th-century two-storey gabled addition to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
