Description
This guide pillar, dating from 1860, is located at the junction with Brightholmlee Road on the south-west side. It is made of gritstone, measuring approximately 18 inches square and standing 3 feet high. The base is rough, while the upper part is dressed. The north face features pointed directions with arrows, indicating the routes to Edgemount and Bradfield, as well as Wightwizzle, Oughtibridge, and Sheffield.
