Description
This building is a coach house and stable located 10 meters west of Newlands Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. The building has coped gables with kneelers and is two storeys high with two bays. The windows are topped with stone lintels.
The coach house, situated on the left, includes a reglazed square window and has two carriage openings with a wooden lintel, a central square stone pier, and a pair of board doors on the right. The left gable also has a reglazed square window. The stable, set back on the right, features a small four-pane casement window, a board door with a stone surround to the left, a stone landing, and a cantilevered stone stair. Below, there is a doorway with a stone surround on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
