Description
The boundary wall at Carbrook School Workshops, built in 1877, is likely the work of architects Innocent & Brown for the Sheffield School Board. It is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings. The wall features chamfered ashlar coping and originally had a railing. To the right, there is a square capped pier, while to the left, there is a square gate pier with a cast-iron gate. Further left, in front of the school, is a 6-bay section of wall, approximately 30 meters long, which also has chamfered coping and a cast-iron railing. This section is divided by square piers and flanked by larger piers with gabled caps.
