Description
This building is a stable with an attached dovecote located at the east end of Sutton Farmhouse, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble magnesian limestone and features a pantile roof. The structure has three storeys and consists of a single cell. On the left side, there is a stable door with a wooden lintel next to an altered, unglazed window opening. A boarded doorway with a wooden lintel is present on the first floor, and there is an unglazed, square opening on the second floor. The building also has shaped kneelers and gable copings. The interior has been mostly altered but still retains nesting holes. The attached farmhouse is not considered to be of special interest.
