Description
This is a crossbase with a shaft located immediately to the south of the porch of the Church of All Saints in Hooton Pagnell. The base dates from the late medieval period, while the shaft is later. It is made of limestone, with the base featuring stop-chamfered corners. The square shaft has lightly-chamfered corners with stops. It was formerly used as a sundial pedestal, although the dial and gnomon are now missing.
