Description

Winter Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century and was remodeled in the mid-19th century. The building is rendered and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and a three-bay front. The left end has two bays of three-light flat-faced mullion windows, which have extended heads and sills, while the right end has an entrance and one single light window on the ground floor. The gable copings are chamfered and rest on moulded kneelers, and there is a brick ridge stack. The rear elevation is plain, except for a small single-storey wing. Inside, there is one principal rafter roof truss with a cambered tie-beam.
