Description

The raised graveslab, located approximately 10 meters west of the south side of the tower of the Church of All Saints, dates from around 1769. It is made of sandstone and features a staple line decoration along the edge, dividing the stone lengthways with an arched top. The left side commemorates Richard Beardshall of Toadhole, who died on 3rd July 1769 at the age of 59. The right side is dedicated to Mary, the wife of Richard Beardshall of Toadhole, who died on 6th October 1768 at the age of 61.
