Description

No. 71 The Village is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a French tile roof. The house has a central hallway entry and is two storeys high with three bays. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a divided overlight above. Throughout the building, there are sash windows with glazing bars set beneath segmental brick arches. A first-floor band runs along the front, and there are end stacks with tumbling-in to the gable ends. This property is included for its group value.
