Description
No. 93 The Village is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and has a French tile roof. The house features a hallway entry with a service wing that is a separate build to the left. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay facade, which is defined by quoins made of orange brick, along with a single-bay service wing. The main entrance has a 20th-century glazed door with an overlight, flanked by four-pane sash windows beneath brick relieving arches. The service wing also has a four-pane sash window beneath a cambered brick arch. There is a band that runs along the main house only. On the first floor, there are four-pane sashes, all positioned beneath segmental brick arches. The house features a dentilled eaves course, gable coping, and end and ridge stacks, with tumbling-in to the gable ends. The building is included for its group value.
