Description

Strensall Bridge is a bridge built in 1798, designed by John Carr of York. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a single segmental arch supported by buttresses. The bridge has a solid cambered coped parapet and ramped approaches with containing walls that match the bridge's style. The total cost of construction was £1,363 3 shillings and 2 pence.
