Description

Nova Scotia Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in a random bond pattern and features a pantile roof. The building has a central entrance with a cross wing at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a divided overlight above it. Throughout the house, there are sash windows with glazing bars set beneath segmental brick arches. A rubbed brick band runs along the façade, and the gabled coping is complemented by an end stack. At the rear, there is a staircase gable.
