Description
Nos. 6 and 7 Tower Street are a pair of mid-19th century houses that have been converted into offices. They are constructed of pink and cream mottled brick in Flemish bond, featuring timber doorcases and a bracketed eaves cornice. The slate roof is complemented by brick stacks.
The exterior presents a three-storey, five-window front that curves at the corner. Each house has pilastered doorcases with imposts and moulded cornice hoods supported by brackets, along with sunk-panel doors beneath overlights. Above the door of No. 6 is a three-light canted oriel window with a moulded cornice on brackets. The windows of No. 6 are 4-pane sashes, while No. 7 features 12-pane sashes with slender glazing bars. All windows have flat arches, with a painted stone sill band for the first-floor windows and painted stone sills for the others. The interiors have not been inspected.
