Description
35 and 36 Parliament Street are two houses that have been combined to form a restaurant. They were built between 1836 and 1839, with later 19th-century alterations and a 20th-century shopfront. The buildings are constructed of orange-grey mottled brick in Flemish bond, featuring a moulded timber eaves cornice and a slate roof with a brick stack.
The exterior has four storeys and a two-window front. The first floor has one-pane sash windows, the second floor has 12-pane sash windows, and the third floor features unequal 9-pane sash windows. All windows have painted stone sills and flat brick arches above them. The interior has not been inspected.
