Description
No. 121 The Mount is a house, now used as offices, built in 1833. It features a stucco exterior and a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high with three main bays, the central bay projecting slightly. On the left, there is a two-storey rectangular bay window with tripartite sashes that do not have glazing bars, topped by a cornice just below the main eaves. The right-hand bay contains a small sashed window on the ground floor, and above it is a stair window with a sashed design and a glazed round-arched head. Below the eaves, there is a shallow window with fixed lights. The first-floor window in the central bay is a casement. The porch features paired pilasters, a plain entablature, a cornice, and a six-panel divided door. The eaves of the house are coved with sprocketed rafters, and there are ridge chimneys on either side of the central bay. To the right, there is a lower two-storey wing that has a first-floor sill band. This wing includes a recessed bay on the left with a sashed window above a door with an overlight, a casement window to the right, a boarded garage door adjacent, and a sashed window and a casement window on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
