Description
The wall, gates, and gate piers located approximately 90 metres south-west of Number 1 form the south-west boundary of the garden to Gray's Court. Constructed around 1900, the wall incorporates 17th-century gate piers. The wall is made of reused magnesian limestone, arranged in an irregular pattern, and stands about 2 metres high, featuring flat coping topped with iron finials. The square-section gate piers are panelled and have moulded bases and cornices beneath shaped flat caps. The double gates consist of square-section rails supported by fluted cylindrical posts with ball finials.
