Description

Marydale is a mid-18th century house located on Naburn Maypole Terrace, with later additions and alterations including 19th-century outshuts to the rear and right side. The house is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with a pantile roof. An off-centre entrance features a 20th-century part-glazed door. A further blocked entrance is visible at the end, situated under a header arch. On the ground floor, there are 24-pane Yorkshire sash windows, with the window to the left positioned beneath a relieving arch. A three-course first floor band is present. The upper floor contains eight-pane Yorkshire sash windows set beneath a modillion eaves band. A ridge stack is visible. The gable end features tumbled-in brickwork.
