TA 11 NW THORNTON CURTIS COLLEGE ROAD (east side) 10/80 Walls enclosing orchard approximately 130 metres east-south-east of Thornton Abbey Gatehouse

Walls. North wall medieval or early post-medieval, other walls later; medieval masonry and brick used throughout. North wall, c100 metres long, with chamfered ashlar plinth up to 4 courses high and upper section of limestone ashlar, squared chalk, brick and tile, up to 8 courses high. Blocked or rebuilt section to west. Section to west end continued as grass- covered bank. Wall adjoining to south of re-used squared limestone and ashlar.
