Description

The Vicarage is an early 19th-century house built of stucco, situated on Beck Hill. It has a double-hipped roof covered with Welsh slate. A cill band, frieze, and cornice run along the façade. The house features panelling to the angle pilasters, and sash windows set in reveals. The east and south sides have full-height bays, with ground-floor windows set within panels, and narrow angle panels incorporating inverted arch heads. The south side has a door and fanlight, both set within an arched panel. The Vicarage forms a group with the nearby church of St Peter, the churchyard cross and wall, and Tyrwhitt Hall.
