Description
This is an early 18th century building on the south side of High Street. It comprises a row of six properties, numbered 49 to 55. The front elevation is painted brick, with a pantile roof and a dentil eaves cornice. The building has a flush ashlar plinth. The upper floor has three sliding sash windows with three lights each and one modern casement window. The ground floor has two sliding sash windows and two modern windows. There are one plain door and two modern doors, with a passage entry. Numbers 49 to 59 (odd), 59A, and numbers 61 to 75 (odd) form a group, although numbers 59, 59A, and 61 have only local interest.
