Description

Nos 20 to 26 on Holy Dyke are buildings from the 18th century or early 19th century. They are two storeys tall, constructed of brown brick with a pantile roof. The ground floor features four modern windows set beneath segmental red brick header arches. On the first floor, there are five windows; some of these retain their original sliding sashes with glazing bars, while the others are modern casements, and two are blocked. There are three modern doors in segmental doorways, with a passage entry to the left. The buildings also have a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice. These properties, along with the Library and other buildings on the street, form a group, although the Library is noted for local interest only.
