Description

Two altar tombs located approximately 5 to 8 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Maurice, dating from 1739. They are made of limestone ashlar slabs set on brick bases. One tomb is dedicated to Nicholas Winter, who died in 1739, and his wife Mary, who died in 1758. The other tomb commemorates their son, Nicholas Winter, who also died in 1739. Both tombs feature good inscriptions in a distinctive style.
