Description

Nos 22 and 23 Market Place is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is finished in plain stucco. It features two windows on the upper floors, which are hung sashes with glazing bars. The building has a wooden eaves cornice. On the ground floor, there is a round-headed passage archway situated between two bowed shop windows; one of these windows has hung sashes with glazing bars, and both have doors that are topped with the same frieze and cornice. One of the bow windows retains its original shutters. Nos 20 to 25 Market Place form a group with this building.
