Description

Inglenook is an 18th-century house that has undergone some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of brick and has been colourwashed, topped with a pantile roof. The house features a central entrance plan with two rooms and is a single storey with an attic, containing two windows. The entrance includes a 20th-century part-glazed door, which is flanked by 16-pane sash windows that have stucco flat arches and projecting sills. There are also a pair of 20th-century raking dormers with glazing bars and tile-hung cheeks. The eaves cornice is stepped and cogged, and the gables are brick coped and tumbled. There are end stacks, and an attic casement window is located on the right side. Inside, the house retains original beamed ceilings.
