Description

This is a range of terraced houses at 12 to 18 Holy Dyke, built in the early to mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of red brick with hipped Welsh slate roofs and three brick stacks. They feature eight flush sash windows with rusticated lintels and keystones; two retain their original hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor has two similar windows, one of which has glazing bars, and two canted bays. The front doors are framed by panelled reveals with cornices and each has an oblong fanlight. The original door remains at number 12. These houses, together with numbers 26 and 32 to 36, form a group of buildings of local interest.
