Description
The stable, granary, and cartshed range located 38 meters west of Clee Hall Farmhouse dates from the early 19th century and has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed of brick and features a pantile roof, forming the eastern side of a foldyard.
The building is two stories high and has a continuous outshut on the west side facing the foldyard. The west elevation includes a door on the far left and an arcaded cattle-stall section to the right, which has three bull-nosed brick segmental-arched openings supported by brick piers. The south gable end features a small segmental-headed opening at the first-floor level and three tiers of dove holes in the gable.
On the east side, there is a single door to the left, flanked by small breather holes, and three segmental-arched waggon openings to the right. These openings have double board doors with strap hinges set in rounded brick reveals. Above the central piers, there are a pair of circular iron tie-bar ends decorated with fleur-de-lys relief. The first floor has a board door on the far left with a cat-hole, along with three hatches, each featuring a row of four panes above a wooden louvre.
The interior has not been inspected.
