Description
13 Wellowgate is a house built around 1800, with some alterations and renovations made in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brown brick, with the left gable-end rendered, and features a concrete tile roof at the front and a slate roof at the rear. It has a two-storey structure with a central entrance hall and a symmetrical three-window range. The front entrance includes a 20th-century uPVC door, with an overlight and windows in their original openings, which have segmental rubbed-brick arches and sills. The eaves are stepped, and there are stacks at the ends.
Inside, there is a dog-leg staircase that features a corniced handrail and plain balusters.
