Description
No 15 is a mid 18th-century house located on Church Lane in Snaith and Cowick. It is constructed of brick and has a pantile roof. The building features a double-depth plan with single rooms at the front and rear, and an entrance hall on the left side. It stands two storeys high and has one window on the first floor. The entrance is marked by a 19th-century panelled door and 12-pane sliding sash windows set beneath segmental header arches. There is a two-course brick band at the first floor, a stepped and cogged brick eaves cornice, and brick-coped gables with shaped kneelers. A corniced end stack is located to the left. Inside, the house includes an inglenook fireplace and a chamfered spine beam in the ground-floor front room. At the time of the last survey, the property was undergoing renovation, including re-roofing.
