Description

Carr Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse featuring a rendered exterior, stone sills, and a pantiled roof with brick stacks. The building has a hearth-passage plan and consists of one storey with attics. The entrance includes a boarded door set in a plain surround. There are four windows on the ground floor, each with 4-pane sliding sashes framed by moulded wooden architraves. In the attic, two dormers with sloping roofs contain 12-pane sliding sashes, also in moulded architraves. The farmhouse has plain close verges and features both end and axial stacks.
