Description
Wesleyan Chapel is a building constructed in 1839, with a later porch and a 20th-century extension at the rear. It is made of brick, with the left gable rendered, stone dressings, a timber eaves cornice, and a slate roof. The chapel features a symmetrical elevation and is a single storey with three bays. It has a chamfered stone plinth and a central porch that includes double boarded doors, which are flanked by pointed windows with intersecting glazing bars set under stone arches. Above the porch is a datestone that reads 'Wesleyan Centenary 1839'. The gable ends also have two pointed windows with intersecting glazing bars under stone arches, and the building is topped with raised coped gables.
