Description
Beech House is a house that likely dates from the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of pinkish-red brick in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays, with a single-storey, two-bay range to the right and an extension at the rear.
The main range features a central entrance with a part-glazed door and an overlight that has decorative glazing bars, all sheltered by a bracketed hood. The outer bays have 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor, which are set under cambered arches, while there is a 12-pane sash window above the door. The ends of the building have rendered stacks.
The right range includes an end entrance with a plank door and an overlight beneath a cambered arch. To the right of this entrance, there are paired 12-pane sash windows and paired 16-pane sash windows, both from the 20th century. The gable end features tumbled-in brickwork.
