Description
Nos 82 and 84 Lairgate is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high and is rendered. It features a dentil eaves cornice and a plinth. The first floor of No 82 has a band, and both properties have near flush frame sash windows, mostly with glazing bars. The doors have fanlights, with No 82's door consisting of six fielded panels, while No 84 has a modern reproduction door. There is an inset foot scraper at No 84. Inside No 82, there is a fine late 18th-century composition chimney-piece, which is not in its original location.
