Description
Dent's Garth is a house built in the late 18th century. It features orange brick in an English garden wall bond and has a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has four bays arranged in a 2:1:1 pattern, with a 19th-century parallel range added to the rear. The entrance door consists of six raised and fielded panels and is flanked by sash windows with glazing bars, along with a modern casement window with glazing bars on the extreme left. On the first floor, there are three unequal 9-pane sash windows. The house has a dentilled brick eaves cornice, end stacks, and tumbled-in brickwork at the raised gables.
