Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th century, although it likely has earlier origins. The ground floor is built with cobbles, some of which are very large, while the first floor is constructed of orange brick in an English garden wall bond. The roof is covered in pantiles. The building is two storeys high and has a balanced three-bay front elevation. A rear outshut has a catslide roof. The front elevation features a 20th-century panelled door set under a channelled wedge lintel, flanked by four-pane sash windows with sills under channelled wedge lintels. The first floor has three similar sash windows. Chimneys with tumbled-in brick are located at the ends of the building, rising above the gables. There is evidence in the ground floor front elevation of earlier openings which have been blocked up.
