Description
Town Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house constructed from cobble, featuring a pantiled roof and brick stacks. It is a single-storey building with attics and originally consists of three bays, with an additional 20th-century bay added to the left. The layout follows a centre-lobby entry plan. The front door has four panels, with the lower two being raised and fielded, and the upper two glazed. To the right of the door is a 20th-century window with glazing bars and a top-opening light, while to the left is a sash window with glazing bars. There is another 20th-century window with glazing bars at the extreme right. The house has a stepped brick eaves cornice and a roof dormer with a casement window that also has glazing bars, located to the right. The building features raised gabled end and axial stacks. A late 20th-century extension to the left is noted but is not of special interest.
