Description

The Bungalow is a house that likely dates back to the 18th century and was extended and re-roofed in the mid-19th century. It features clay walls with brick cladding, is rendered, and has a pantiled roof, while the later extensions are made of brick with a slate roof. The original structure consists of two cells and is a single-storey building with a gable-entry plan. The later extension includes two bays on the left and a half-bay on the right, all single-storey, with porches on the front wall. The house has a 20th-century door and various windows, along with axial and end stacks. Its significance lies in its construction method, as it is one of the very few remaining examples in Humberside. The mid-19th-century extension is not considered of special interest.
