Description
Catwick House is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of orange brick with red brick dressings and features a graduated slate roof. The house has a side entry and is designed with two rooms deep. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical elevation with three bays.
On the ground floor, there are three sash windows with sills and glazing bars, which are set beneath flat gauged brick heads. The first floor features three similar 9-pane unequal sashes. The house has end stacks and hipped roofs all around, with a central well.
The right elevation displays scattered fenestration and a central door made up of six raised-and-fielded panels. This door is topped by a blocked oblong fanlight with radial glazing, all set within a pilastered doorcase that includes consoles to the cornice.
