Description

Barmby Moor House Hotel is a late 18th and early 19th century house, now operating as a hotel. It is constructed of brown brick with slate roofs. The building is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, with the central bay projecting slightly and topped by a low pediment. The main entrance features a six-panel raised and fielded door, above a fanlight with radial glazing. This is flanked by side-lights with glazing bars, all behind a porch with fluted columns, and a stone owl positioned centrally. Two-storey bow windows with sash windows and glazing bars are situated to the right and left of the entrance. A first-floor band runs along the elevation. A tripartite sash window with glazing bars sits above the entrance door. Axial stacks rise through hipped roofs.
