Description
Valley Farmhouse is a house built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick in stretcher bond with stone dressings and has a pantiled roof. The layout features a central lobby-entry plan with a rear wing. The building has two storeys and attics, with three bays. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, flanked by four-pane sash windows with sills, all set under segmental heads. On the first floor, there are four-pane sash windows with sills, all under flat heads. The house has a dentilled stone eaves cornice and a central stack located at the rear of the ridge. The raised gables feature tumbled-in brick and shaped stone kneelers. The left gable has three narrow grouped air-vents in the attic storey.
