Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, which was remodeled in the early 19th century and has an extension to the left. It is constructed from coursed oolitic limestone rubble, with brickwork matching the stone and grey brick used for the extension, topped with a pantiled roof. The original house features a hearth-passage plan with a continuous rear outshut made of brick.
The building is two storeys high and consists of two cells. The central entrance has a four-panel door with an overlight that includes glazing bars, all set beneath a segmental head. This door is flanked by 16-pane sash windows, which also have segmental heads and sills. The first floor has similar 12-pane unequal sashes. The single-bay extension to the left has matching window designs. The house has axial and end stacks, a raised coped gable on the right side, and a hipped roof on the left.
