Description
This is a range of early 19th-century buildings forming numbers 25 to 39 on Main Street, Sewerby. They are constructed of brick with a pantile roof and a brick eaves cornice. Number 25 has two casement windows on the first floor, above a more recent shop front and a half-glazed door. The remaining properties have two modern windows to each floor, with the ground floor windows and doorways set within slightly segmental arches. Number 33 has sliding sash windows with glazing bars. Number 39 features two hung sash windows with glazing bars, one modern window to the ground floor, and a modern shop front and door. The buildings are listed due to their group value within the village.
