Description
The Vicarage, built in 1831, is a two-storey brick structure that has been whitewashed and features slate roofs. It has a central direct entry plan and consists of three bays, with the centre bay recessed. On the ground floor, there is a late 19th century or early 20th century porch flanked by sash windows with glazing bars, which sit under slightly segmental gauged brick arches. The sash window on the right has later added side lights with glazing bars. The first floor includes a casement window with margin-pane glazing above the door, flanked by two unequal sash windows with nine panes and glazing bars. The building has deep oversailing eaves supported by paired brackets, end stacks, and a hipped roof. The wing walls feature a round-headed opening on the left with ramped coping, while the right wing wall has 20th century double-leaf doors and similar ramped coping.
