Description
No 20 North Bar Without is an 18th-century building that was altered in the mid to late 19th century. It has two storeys and an attic, finished in stucco, with a steep slate roof featuring two pedimented gabled dormers. These dormers contain sash windows with central glazing bars only. The building has two shallow splay bay sash windows with three lights, dating from the late 19th century. A moulded cornice runs along the first floor, and one of the bays extends down to the ground floor. The entrance is arched, featuring a radial bar fanlight and a keystone. There is a plinth and a round-headed passage doorway, along with an ornamental eaves cornice. This building is included as part of a group.
