Description

Aragon House is a building that likely dates from the 18th century, with alterations made to its front in the mid-19th century. It stands three storeys tall, constructed of painted red brick and topped with a slate roof featuring a console eaves cornice. The front has three sash windows, with the first floor lacking glazing bars. The windows on the first and ground floors have stucco moulded surrounds with cornices supported by consoles. At the centre of the first floor, there is a canted square bay window above the entrance, which has a stucco pilastered case. Above the carriageway to the west, there is an arch with rusticated voussoirs and a keystone.
