Description

The Smithy is likely an early 19th-century building, although it may date back to the 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick and has a pitched pantile roof with a tumbled gable. The building is single-storey. It features a planked stable door and a sliding sash window with glazing bars, along with other 19th-century casement windows. The original forge remains in situ.
